*Many of the services that are provided by the are also available at one or more nearby hospitals.  If for some reason, you find that it is unusually difficult for you to have your recommended procedure completed at the , you may inquire as to whether the necessary tests or services can be performed at a specific local hospital.

Many hospitals can also provide additional non-invasive services that are not currently available at the   These tests will be administered and supervised in the hospital by your cardiologist; and can include:
 

     Tilt-Table Testing

     Trans-Esophageal Echo-Doppler Imaging

     MUGA Scan Nuclear Cardiac Imaging

Dr. Stafford Smith is qualified to read and interpret any and all of your invasive and non-invasive hospital diagnostic studies; including evaluation of cardiac echo-Doppler studies, cardiac catheterization and coronary interventional films, Holter monitor recorders, cardiac event recorders, signal-averaged electrocardiograms, T-wave alternans testing, pacemaker/ICD telephonic interrogations, nuclear cardiac imaging studies [using thallium or technetium radiotracers], and perform on-site pacemaker/ICD interrogation and/or reprogramming.

Additional information regarding any of the above mentioned services is available from our office, or from the hospital where the procedure is to be performed.  If you are scheduled to have any of these procedures performed, please contact the appropriate hospital on the day prior to your procedure to confirm your appointment time.
